Alain Perdrau began his career at the former Ladégourdie stable in 1984. He took no long to make a name at the Champ de Mars as his approach and knowledge about horse racing gave him a special aura. He later run his own stable which bears his name and settled among the best trainers on the island. Up to now, Alain Perdrau counts the most number of years as a trainer in Mauritius and holds an impressive record. The stable has know the glory days with several Classic race winners like Botanique, Seraphos, World Focus, Sentinal and Trump.
The new millenium saw the debut of Yannick Perdrau who brought a new dimention to the yard with new techniques and approaches. Perdrau stable keeps the balance between the traditions and modernity. It is a stable which has had the ability to evolve with time.
